Frequently Asked Questions
Visiting The Showroom
No appointment needed! Feel free to drop in during opening hours and explore our range at your own pace. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for or you're starting from scratch, we're happy to help.
The earlier, the better.
We often see customers leave tile selections until the last minute, which can make the process feel rushed and stressful. Visiting the showroom early gives you time to explore your options, take samples home and make confident decisions without the pressure of looming deadlines.
It really depends on your project. Some customers are in and out within a few minutes, while others spend a couple of hours comparing options and planning their renovation. We'd recommend allowing plenty of time if you're selecting tiles for multiple areas.
Yes! We encourage customers to see tiles in their own space before making a final decision. Depending on the size, availability and popularity of the product, a deposit may be required for some samples.
Photos of your space, inspiration images, measurements, paint colours, cabinetry samples and benchtop samples can all help make your visit more productive.
Absolutely. Helping customers find the right tile is one of our favourite parts of the job. Whether you're renovating a bathroom, building a new home or updating an outdoor area, we're happy to help guide your selections.
Tiles & Product Selection
Porcelain tiles are generally denser, more durable and less porous than ceramic tiles. They're suitable for a wider range of applications, including many floor and outdoor installations.
If you provide measurements or plans, we'll happily help calculate quantities. We generally recommend allowing around 10% extra for cuts, wastage and future repairs.
Most tiles are ordered from our suppliers once purchased. However, we keep a large range of installation products and trade materials in stock.
Yes. Slight variations between batches are normal within the tile industry. For this reason, we recommend ordering all required material at the same time.
Installation & Grout
Absolutely. Grout colour can dramatically change the finished look of a tiled surface. Whether you're after a seamless appearance or a high-contrast design, we can help you compare options.
Both have their advantages. Cement grouts are the most commonly used and are suitable for many residential applications. Epoxy grouts offer increased stain and chemical resistance but may not be necessary for every project. We're happy to help determine which option is best for your application.
Yes. We stock a wide range of installation products including adhesives, grout, waterproofing systems, levelling systems, trims, sealers, cleaners and other tiling accessories. If you're unsure what you'll need for your project, our team is happy to help.
Absolutely. Choosing the right adhesive, grout and waterproofing products is just as important as choosing the right tile. Our team can recommend products based on your tile selection and project requirements.
